Hey Artists, you have the potential to sell over 85% of your art collection year after year. Sounds ridiculously good, right? It is possible because I have done it consistently, and so can you. I am not talking about doing a portfolio of 10 pieces, more like 30 or more pieces. Imagine if you could sell that much artwork consistently. Would your life change? Would you start dreaming of opening an art business or quit your uninspiring job? How about that dream vacation for your family? Perhaps with this newfound realization, some of you could venture into a semi-retirement passion business. To those of you that don't know me, I am Ting, an artist, and art business, coach. I help artists of all levels market their art and grow their business to live a creative life with time and money freedom. I have been selling my art for 20 years in various galleries and venues. For the past 13 years, My husband, Paul, and I have operated our award-winning gallery. Our creative business afforded us a comfortable living and many memorable travel adventures.
Sounds like a dream, right? Having an art business that supports you and your family can happen to you as well, but it means you have to do the work. It doesn't mean you are busy creating one piece of art here and there. I am talking about being intentional with your art collection, knowing what to paint and how to do it with focus. A cohesive portfolio of work constitutes success. You can apply for gallery representation or juried shows with a well-curated collection. The success rate increases as you gain more experience on how this is done. And it also has to start with your mindset, how you think, and how you tackle challenges. The willingness to learn new strategies to do the right things to grow a business you love. Don't be discouraged friends, be inspired instead! Your talent is sufficient; you just need the right strategies and mindset to get you where you want to be. If I can do it, so can you! If you don't know where you stand, I have created a workbook with 15 questions to help you put things in perspective. It will help you forecast your past action vs. results, giving you an idea of how to project your 2022. This exercise enables you to reflect on your past year's performance and gives you a great view of what to launch for the new year. It is the only way to make way and set intentions for the new year. Well, don't you wait for your year in review any longer; Click here for your workbook and get started. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have. Let me help you with your art business journey because you don't have to do this alone.
