I finally did my second webinar launch; that was so much fun but nerve-wracking simultaneously! Before the webinar, I was a ball of nerves; first of all, I had only launched once, so the second time around, I still felt like the new kid on the block. I forgot how all the tech work; I couldn't find my way around my webinar site because the last time I launched was five months ago! At one point, I panicked, which is very unusual for me; I am more like the cool as the cucumber type gal, but that day I was desperate. I was overwhelmed, and I wished I had someone to ask questions! That made me rethink my solopreneurship and how lonely it is to do it alone. No one to give me a nudge to say, "hey you will be okay", or someone telling me, integrate this to that, and it will all work. I was on the Support line with one of my platforms in desperation because it was the long weekend. Okay, colossal mistake. Don't launch anything during the long weekend. All platforms have shortened their hours during labor day weekend. What was I thinking?
Although I've been in the art business for over two decades, this webinar launch is still brand new to me. Of course, there will be hiccups, jitters, and so on. Unsurprisingly, the webinar itself was a hoot for me because I got spend time with my tribe and I am comfortable with selling and introducing my product. There is not much difference between sharing my art product and my course. So after the launch, I decided to enroll in a mastermind group because being a solopreneur is a lonely road. Listen, artists, I don't want you to feel like me during the weekend of my past webinar. You don't have to do your art business alone that's why I am inviting you to join my free FB Group. I know so far; you are alone on this art journey; if you are thinking of building your art business and are having a hard time understanding how everything pieces together, then you need a helping hand. Perhaps you are creating without a plan, hoping and praying that someone will notice you and buy your art. I know life is busy with taking care of your family to working a soul-crushing job; maybe art is your escape, but you are hoping one day your talent will bring you somewhere but doing it alone seems so chaotic and overwhelming. I know how that feels but listen, artists, you don't have to do it solo. Perhaps you didn't have the time or resources to take my course right now, but you should join my Free FB Group. Don't just join because I told you so; participate because you want to better your art and yourself as a business owner. Join my group and be proactive. Participate in the prompts; I promise you that you will grow much faster if you do the prompts I organized for you. Remember, action gets you results. "Absolutely do it to anyone on the fence about working with or learning from Ting Yuen. Ting breaks challenges down so that they are not intimidating or overwhelming, but still, help you grow. She gives you enough direction that you don't feel lost, but enough space to work at your own pace. She is very down-to-earth and always so encouraging." Sarita Thyng. With creative joy, Ting
