Have you ever felt stuck in a creative block or noticed that your energy isn’t flowing with joy? If you’ve been in this uninspired space for some time, it’s essential to be proactive about finding a solution, as it may be a sign of misalignment. Hello artist, let's discuss your creative energy today and how you can tap into it quickly and abundantly. As someone who creates spiritual art, I know how important it is to align my energies with my work. I know art and spiritualism are inseparable companions. The wellspring of our creative energy is our soul’s quest to express beauty or fulfill a mission. Regardless of our individual beliefs, whether rooted in faith, spirituality, or any other creed, an undeniable divine energy guides and empowers our artistic manifestations. Through this energy, we find healing and discover profound answers within our creative practice, which is a transformative journey that extends beyond the realms of art. Let's talk about the Devine Energy.
The creative energy is feminine, gentle, wild, bold, loud, fluid, exciting, ground-breaking, expansive, healing, and intuitive. But most of all, it’s spiritual. We honor the space when we enter our studio by being attuned to our frequency. Great art is created when you find the joy of your soul dancing and playing in you. But great art doesn’t always come from a place of joy. It often springs from the depths of our negative emotions, a powerful act of liberation as you unapologetically release your frustrations onto the canvas and courageously let your soul speak. No matter how you feel, trust it and let it flow as long as it is from the heart. Because creating authentic, soulful work is only possible when you are emotionally available. The importance of our emotional state in our artistic process is vital to creating good work. So, to say spirituality has no bearing on good art is a farce. I for one started my artistic journey through my need to self-heal and through my art journaling, I found a space to get answers, grow, and heal. Now, let’s talk about tapping into our spiritual self. To tap into your spiritual energy, you need to do some soul work. Here are 5 practices that I recommend: Meditation: This powerful practice helps align your soul with your mind and stimulate creativity. Sit in silence and clear your thoughts, allowing space for your intuition and creativity to explore. There is no right or wrong way to meditate; just breathe, clear your thoughts, and surrender to your higher self. Yoga: I cannot stress enough how highly effective yoga is to your mind and body. A mere 10 minutes of Yoga in the morning has the power to transform your entire day. It not only benefits your physical health, but it also helps you to enhance your concentration, foster positivity, nurture your soul, and deepen your spirituality. Journaling: I am a great fan of this practice. I have created hundreds of pieces of art from my life journal. One technique I often use is to write down three things I'm grateful for each day. This simple act of gratitude helps me tap into my intuition and connect to my creative self. Journaling also explores your internal thoughts and emotions, giving you space to broaden your perspective and find answers to your quest. It's a process of healing and growth that I highly recommend. Creative Exercise: Perform warm-up exercises, such as drawing with your left hand, for 30 minutes to enhance your creativity. This practice helps activate your right brain and boost your imagination. Nature: Nature has a unique way of nurturing your soul. Its beauty can provide you with an abundance of ideas to paint. Be curious and examine the foliage in great detail when you're out there. Keep your ears peeled for the chirping of the birds, breathe in the fresh air, and take in the sweet aroma of the flowers. Walking in the woods can clear your mind and infuse your creative energy with new ideas. Now, I would love to know which of these activities you would like to try. If you have a unique way that helps ignite your creative energy, do share. Or, if you resonate with this blog, please drop me a line in the comment below. I would love to hear from you. If you require more ways to ignite your creative energy, I have a guide that shares with you 22 ways to tap into your inspirational well, which you can find here. With Joy, Ting

Ting these are great suggestions. I do many of these things on a regular basis and find it really helps to lower stress in general. I’m going to be more intentional about warming up with my left hand and also getting back to art journaling throughout the week. Thanks for the great read!
