How My Art Business Gives Me the Freedom to Create my Ideal Life?

Hi Artist, I want to share this message with you today because I want you to trust your talent and let it lead you to freedom.

Anyone familiar with me knows that I am a nomad; thirty moves qualified me as one. I love traveling, moving, setting up new homes and galleries. It sounds crazy, but not for me.

Now that I have accomplished what I wanted, I look back at my career and realize that none of those moves would have been possible if I didn’t own my art business.

Incase we haven't met, here's a little bit about me
I am Ting, an artist, and art business coach; I help artists of all levels market their art and grow their business to live a creative life with time and money freedom. I have been selling my art for 20 years in various galleries and venues. For the past 13 years, My husband, Paul, and I have operated our award-winning gallery. Our creative business afforded us a comfortable living and many memorable travel adventures.

Our Art Business is our saving grace
​My partner, Paul, and I have the travel bug. The success of our first gallery made us realize that owning an art business is our saving grace. Settling down in one location was not an option because we needed to keep our gypsy self happy. By owning our art business, our nomadic lifestyle was made possible. Hence the four galleries.

Although moving from town to town was challenging, the rewards were countless. Our galleries were located in the most spectacular places, from the Caribou rustic beauty to the majestic Rockies. Our mobile personalities also taught us a lot about building galleries, and our business savvy gives us the confidence to live our dream, build wealth and cultivate collectors.

I want to share this message with you today because I want you to trust your talent and let it lead you to freedom. There is so much power in having artistic talent; the life fulfillment and revenue streams you can create from one source of talent are invaluable.

But first thing FIRST, learn how to create a sellable collection, strategically market, and sell your art, and from there; the sky is the limit. Once you know how to sell and market your craft well, all you have to do is rinse, repeat and grow continuously.

I want to encourage you to think a little harder on this because some of you are ready for the change because you realized the potential in your talent.
Whenever I start something new, my mindset says, “I can do this!”
And Artist friends, I want you to start thinking, if she can do it, so can I” That is the attitude I want you to adopt.
