How Covid Has Changed Lives Hi, artist, The past few years after my husband, Paul, and I closed our gallery have been a mixture of emotions. Covid changed many peoples’ lives; some of us are grieving for lost ones or lost professions, and most of us are still in transition because it takes time to build or start something new. For Paul and I, the business side of things is of inspired excitement because we started something new. We have been working nonstop at home; I’m working on my online coaching, and Paul is working on financial investment. Honoring my time to help other artists At this stage of my life, I want to use my knowledge to help artists like you turn their passion into a business and achieve their dreams. It’s my time to inspire creatives to know that their dream of being a working artist is possible because I’ve done it. Let me empower you to become an exceptional artist entrepreneur and live your destiny.
Recently, I have thought about how the art business has been such solace for me. If you’re new to my world, let me tell you how painting has transformed my life. How I Started My Artist Journey When my husband got into a car accident as a newlywed and couldn’t work, coupled with a string of misfortunes, I fell into a deep depression. And that was when I started painting, art unexpectedly became my outlet for healing. At just 25 years old, I had to support us as our dream life in the Caribbean abruptly ended. We returned to Canada with heavy hearts, where Paul underwent rehabilitation, and I managed a restaurant. Through it all, art was my saving grace. During those gloomy days, I found solace in painting. As a young person, I had no other way to cope and became consumed with the freedom art brought me. Without realizing it, I began my Artist Diary by painting my journal. This series sparked the creation of my most extensive collection of artwork and continues till today, where I express my thoughts and feelings about life, dreams, and aspirations. Never did I ever fathom that my paintings and courses could motivate and inspire my audience to heal and be inspired about life. I have met many women claiming my art and coaching brought them the transformation they needed. Gratitude I am incredibly grateful for the gift that I was blessed with by a higher power. Not only has it helped me to heal, but it has also led me to build a creative and successful business. Through my art, I have discovered a strength within myself that I never knew existed. It has truly transformed my life and helped me find fulfillment. And I wish the same for you. I am thrilled to be able to express my gratitude to you, for coming into my life in such a serendipitous way. Whether you have been drawn to me by my art and what it represents or because you share my dream of running a creative business, I know our shared love of art has brought us together. Thank you for finding me and for joining me on this journey. Share Your Story With Me. Now, that's enough about me, I want to hear about your dreams, worries, and what inspired you to paint. We creatives need to connect and support each other in this vast world. Let’s stay strong and remember that we were born to create and fulfill our destinies. So please, share your story with me in the comment below and let me know why having art in your life is vital to your life. I look forward to reading your stories and connecting with you.
