Have you heard, Instagram is making a dramatic shift in how they do things? The head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, recently announced that Instagram is no longer a photo-sharing app. Instead, Instagram is pivoting its interest on reels, stories, IGTV, and long or short-form video. At the moment, YouTube and TikToks are ruling social media, so for Instagram to compete. A pivot towards video is necessary. Mr. Mosseri announced that sharing pictures is not their priority anymore because it is not holding their audience's attention. So if you want to grow with Instagram, it is time to do the reels, IGTV, and all things videos. I know it is frustrating, it would be nice to continue to do what you've been used to, but time is changing, so you need to stay flexible and adapt. Remember, being an entrepreneur is all about adapting, learning, solving problems, and going with the flow. And this shift with Instagram is no different.
