I love to do a year in review. Don’t you? Reflecting on your past year gives you a great idea of what to project for the new year. It is the only way to make way and set intentions for 2022. This blog will help you review 2021 work habits and choose A Word Of The Year for 2022. I have got a workbook to assist you in figuring it all out! Why a Word Of The Year? Because NY resolution is not my thing, it doesn’t stick for me; I don’t remember when was the last time I did one. Having a Word of the Year works best for me because it sets my year up with the right mindset. And I wish the same for you.
My Word for 2021, was Courage because I was embarking on something brand new, and I needed every strength possible to pull it through. After 20 years of being an artist and 13 years as a gallery owner, I was ready for something new! I am now an artist and art business coach! This year has been challenging. At the end of 2020, I lost my beloved mom; it was the hardest thing I have ever endured; the pain was insufferable and unimaginably intense. Courage did come to my rescue. My year of business course creation is taxing, lengthy, and worthwhile simultaneously. It is one of those things; for me, it’s the new technology of figuring out how to teach online; I have to learn and implement along the way. You know, it’s like buying a new gadget, and you are reading the instructions and trying to make it work, except my whole year felt like an extensive manual that wouldn’t stop. LOL! But my Word Of The Year, Courage, embraced me through all the heartaches and hardship. So friend, if you have a chosen word for the year, it can be a game-changer if your intention is there. Before choosing your word for 2022, you have to reflect on your year’s work ethic and business goals. I have got 15 questions here to help you put things in perspective.
